It was a dream start for Honda with Gajser and Fernandez 1-2 in the Saturday qualifer in Portugal, but as Fernandez pushed for a pass, Gajsjer drifted slighty into the Spaniard’s line unintentinally and both riders hit the deck!
Fernandez crashed again and DNF’s but Gajser came back through to seventh to secure a decent gate pick for tomorrow.
