Tom Vialle spent most of the race trying to find a way by a stubborn Kay de Wolf for fourth in the MX2 qualifying race in Portugal, his frustration increasing lap by lpa. As the race neared it’s conclusion, an increasingly desperate Vialle eventually pushed too hard and ended up on the ground, only finishing 13th and consequently a bad gate pick for Sunday as his title rival Geerts took the race win.
