The official international opening round of the 2026 motocross season will take place in Piliscsév, Hungary, where one of Central Europe’s most exciting natural hillside tracks awaits both domestic and international riders. The fast-flowing layout, constantly changing rhythm, mixed soil and sand terrain, long uphill climbs, technical downhills, and dynamic corners create a true challenge — making it an ideal early-season benchmark for riders at every level.
The character of the track reflects modern motocross demands: high-speed sections, natural lines, and varying traction conditions that require precise line choice, strong physical endurance, and excellent bike control. The hillside design not only guarantees spectacular racing but also allows riders to fully exploit their technical skills and race pace.
For the international field, the Piliscsév round represents a key opportunity to evaluate early-season performance, fine-tune bike setup, and compete against a strong and diverse lineup. Thanks to the unique track conditions, intense battles and high-level racing are expected across all categories.
At the moment, Van Venrooy KTM duo – Noel Zanocz and Áron Katona have signed up for the event and there’s hope for more GP/EMX riders to contest the event.
