Race One: It was the Jeffrey Herlings show in race one as he led coming out of the first corner and nobody would see what way he went. Pauls Jonass who is making his return to GP racing got a great start and was in second – the Latvian rode superb and managed to finish there, what a ride.
Tom Vialle was solid and held off Romain Febvre to finish in third. Andrea Adamo spent most the race in fourth before being passed by Febvre so ended up fifth.
Tim Gajser was battliing in the top five before a pretty big crash which dropped him down to ninth behind home hero, Isak Gifting.
Race Two: He didn’t get the holeshot but Herlings was able to make quick passes on Gajser and Febvre to get to the front and then he just controlled things at the front of the field. The Honda man led every lap around a very tough and technical track.
Febvre finished second to take the second step of the podium with Vialle rounding off the podium finishing fourth in race two behind Gajser.
The race was red flagged with a few minutes to go after Kevin Brumann and Jago Geerts collided but both looked to be relatively okay.
