Race One:
Hunter Lawrence good start counted against him after Haiden Deegan who took the lead, crashed and took Hunter down with in in a freak accident! Amazingly Jett; who was mid-pack ride around the fallen Hunter to take the points lead early in the moto!
But somehow, Jett was unable to take advantage with Hunter catching Jett and the brothers battled for 14th with Hunter making the pass and pulling away from Jett in one of the most bizarre motos you will see! Hunter got back to eighth with Jett getting up to eleventh as Jorge Prado ran away with the win, RJ Hampshire was third with Mikkel Haarup third until he crashed just before the checkered flag allowing Webb to take third! What a moto!
Hunter said: “I’m sure you can imagine what it was like under the helmet. Cheers 38, just pretty much threw my championship away basically! Come back and I guess God is real because Jett was in the middle of the pack. Cheers to the man upstairs, nothing else to say!”
HRC Honda gave an update on Jett Lawrence peculiar performance saying as per Vital MX’s Michael Lindsay on X : “Update on Jett: he hyperextended his right ankle early in the moto and aggravated his injury. Doc G is taping it and working on him now. TBD for moto 2.”

Race Two: Jorge Prado and Hunter Lawrence battled for the holeshot but Prado took the lead and checked out as Deegan moved into second passing both Lawrence brothers with Jett also getting Hunter after Hunter tipped over but Hunter kept Jett in sight and kept his cool to cross the line in fourth to clinch the 2026 450 Motocross title by two points over his brother!
Hunter said: “I don’t even know where to start. First lap in the first moto, I was like, ‘here we go again.’ Thanks to the whole team for being behind us. I knew I had to finish right behind Jett. Most of my work was done in the first moto. He has been a trooper with that foot and tweaked it in the first moto on the first lap, he’s in some pain, I hurt my wrist. It was a tough day for the Lawrences.”
