Jett Lawrence rode to a puzzling 11th place after a terrible start that saw his brother Hunter come from last after a crash with Haiden Deegan, and still catch and pass Jett on his way to eighth, with everyone confused as to what was going on with Jett who usually excels under pressure.
Honda have now provided an update on the defending champ who will go into the final moto of the year four points down on Hunter and will be racing in pain – if he races at all after hyperextending his ankle!
Vital MX’s Michael Lindsay reported: “Update on Jett: he hyperextended his right ankle early in the moto and aggravated his injury. Doc G is taping it and working on him now. TBD for moto 2.”
