Race One: Charli Cannon was having a great ride holding off Lala Turner before the champion crashed and dropped down to sixth before getting her way up to fifth. Daniela Guillen ended up second in the first WMX American race of her career.
Mayla Herrick had a strong ride for third on her Honda.
Race Two: It was a similar race for Cannon in race two as she dominated at the front. Herrick rode really well to keep the pressure on but she couldn’t get close enough to mount an attack – second was still a good ride though.
Guillen got a really bad start – she was twenty-fifth around the first corner but she rode well to come through to third to get on the podium.
Turner had an eventful race with a crash but got back to fourth to clinch her third WMX title.
