Hunter Lawrence good start counted against him after Haiden Deegan who took the lead, crashed and took Hunter down with a freak accident! Amazingly Jett; who was mid-pack ride around the fallen Hunter to take the points lead early in the moto!
But somehow, Jett was unable to take advantage with Hunter catching Jett and the brothers battled for 14th with Hunter making the pass and pulling away from Jett in one of the most bizarre motos you will see! Hunter got back to eighth with Jett getting up to eleventh as Jorge Prado ran away with the win, RJ Hampshire was third with Mikkel Haarup third until he crashed just before the checkered flag allowing Webb to take third! What a wild moto!
Hunter said: “I’m sure you can imagine what it was like under the helmet. Cheers 38, just pretty much threw my championship away basically! Come back and I guess God is real because Jett was in the middle of the pack. Cheers to the man upstairs, nothing else to say!”
