Lewis Phillips has got a great interview with Rich Simmons on Star Racing’s MXoN situation that has team USA unsure if they can afford the cost of sending Star Yamaha machine’s to France which means Deegan’s participation is in doubt!
Rich said: “It’s tough because I don’t want to seem like it is just about making money.
It’s not even making money. It’s just not losing money and not spending money to go do it. So, yeah, I mean, I know the public probably looks at that is that it’s petty, but it’s a big cost to get everybody over there and to do it right.
“And like I said, we need to get ready for SMX. But in that meantime, we’re going to have to have those bikes ready to ship out in the beginning of September. And the time that we got to spend on the dyno, on the track, different fuel, which changes the power. It’s a lot of work when you’re trying to get ready for a series that has come to mean a lot. And it’s a lot of money for these guys.”
