Kyle Webster took the holeshot in race one with Tomac not getting the best of starts but was still in around the top five. Roczen had a nightmare as he was pretty much last going into turn one. Tomac was able to make passes and get into the lead as Roczen got back to second. Clout rode well in his home country for third.
In race two, Tomac executed the hoelshot and no one else saw where he went – he won by over ten seconds. Again, Roczen didn’t have a good start but got up to third and then caught Savatgy as the pair had a good battle but the American did enough to hold off Roczen. Clout had a crash but still did well to finish fourth ahead of Oldenburg.
The start of race three was a carbon copy as Tomac got the holeshot and never looked back. Roczen was in the heat of battle in the first couple of laps making a couple of mistakes. The German was able to pass Savatgy this time to finish second.
In the SuperFinal, Tomac again got the holeshot but Roczen was right there on lap one. It was the battle we’d been waiting to see but then Roczen had a small crash which allowed Tomac an easy win in the end. Dean Wilson rode superb to take third holding off his team mate, Joey Savatgy.
