After a very success career racing the World Championship for many years, Jeremy Van Horebeek announced his retirement at the end of last year ending his career racing and developing the new Beta machine.

Despite retiring, Van Horebeek is still involved in the sport after signing to become an official test rider for Pirelli so he still spins plenty of laps.

We believe that Van Horebeek will be back in the MXGP paddock with Standing Construct Honda who have been on the search for a fill in rider after Pauls Jonass’ injury who recently needed surgery on his thumb.

Van Horebeek was spotted riding the Standing Construct Honda at the weekend in Grevenbroich, Germany as he prepares for racing again at the highest level. We believe his first MXGP back will be Germany and he’ll race for the team until Jonass makes a return to racing.

UPDATE: the rumour has now been confirmed, read more here.
