Tom Vialle took a dominant win in moto one as Haiden Deegan went down on lap one and fought back to eleventh with Levi Kitchen coming from seventh to second. Ken Roczen ran top five with third in his sights for early 25 minutes before drifting back to ninth as his lack of race time due to injury and the intensity of the 250 machine took it’s toll – but Roczen had top three speed on that Suzuki!
Tom Vialle took the lead again off the start but this time Haiden Deegan was in the mix and once again, Vialle couldn’t deal with Deegan. The duo battled hard at the halfway mark with Hymas keeping pace but once Deegan got the pace, he put Vialle nearly 20 seconds down as Vialle bizarrely dropped to fourth – yet he still won the overall!
But Deegan is definitely in Vialle’s head… the first moto with Deegan not around he controlled the race, race two was a different Vialle as soon as Deegan got involved, as the champ ended the outdoor season winning the final moto with the number one plate on the bike.

Vialle, who took second in the championship after Kitchen had a DNF, said: “I was super tired and didn’t have good lines on the track. Haiden was pushing me hard and I couldn’t hold on. I was trying to get the overall and I could make it happen.”
Deegan said: “After moto one my mum called my dad and said, ‘Haiden is in trouble he is not allowed to ride like that!’ She was not happy! I was kinda scared, even though I bought my car (Audi R8) she is going take the keys away! I was like I have to win the next moto, that was a lot of confidence for SMX, I’m hyped!

Ken Roczen was running sixth for half the moto after a top ten start eventually taking 12th for 9th overall and a fun day back on the 250 except for maybe the last 10 minutes of each moto in the heat!
