Race results: AMA Supercross RD16 – Denver


Hunter Lawrence passed holeshot man, Jorge Prado, quickly and checked out as Roczen came from fifth to second in the opening couple of laps. But, by the tine Roczen got to second, Hunter was four seconds out front and the Aussie continued to pull away to take the win.

Roczen took second with Tomac third meaning Roczen has a one point lead heading into the final round next weekend in a winner takes all shootout for the 2026 AMA 450 Supercross championship!

Lawrence said: “It couldn’t have been much better than that, let’s go to Salt Lake baby!”

Roczen commented: “Great race, I wasn’t fast enough all day. I didn’t want to override and settled in for second. It’s exciting for us and the fans. Happy with the second place, it’s all I had tonight.”

250 West: Haiden Deegan led from start to finish at Denver to underline why he is the champion and why he is moving up to the 450 class later this month – he has no competition in the 250 class! Levi Kitchen took second with DiFrancesco third and Max Anstie fourth. Young 18 year old Aussie, Kayden Minear, impressed in his professional debut to take fifth.
