Jorge Prado took the win after passing early race leader, countryman and Gajser’s teammate, Ruben Fernandez, who started his comeback in style! Gajser and Herlings started outside the top five but came through to second and third, it means Gajser only has an 8 point lead going into tomorrow’s main races despite riding well today. Maxime Renaux rode superb for fourth and wasn’t afraid to battle the title contenders early on. Jeremy Seewer took fifth, unable to find a way past a stubborn Renaux.
