Max Anstie out of Hangtown after Pala crash

Max Anstie had a hugw crash in qualifying at Pala but the brave Brit still tried ride the openinb moto but the pain forced him out of the moto after a few laps.

Unfortunately Anstie is still not healthy enough to race Hangtown, with the popular Brit saying: “Did all I could to be on the start line this weekend In Hangtown but I’m still too beat up. I’ll get back on the bike next week and the plan is to be back for Colorado rd3. Went down in quali 2 at Pala, tried to line up for first moto, as I thought I might loosen up with some laps but I actually felt worse as the moto went on so had to call it a day!

Anstie continued: “Got X-rays and nothings broken 👍🏼 Cheers to the alpinestars medical crew at the race for doing all they could to line me up for the motos and taking good care of me 👊🏻 Massive thanks to Chuck and the crew at @therxperformance I was in there from Sunday-Thursday for hours a day trying to get back to racing form by this weekend. Spent some time at @monsterenergy this week and got to chat with some great people! And cheers @deanwilson15 and @kylewebster96 for letting me stay and keeping me sane this week 😅”
