It’s not the first time they have done it, but it was interesting to see Jett Lawrence and Hunter Lawrence swap bikes again at Washougal on press day even when they are both battling for a National title with each other.
It underlines again just how different their championship battle is with each other than if it was anyone else – nothing is a secret!
In conversation with Lewis Phillips, team manager Lars Lindstrom said of the move: “Probably because we do press here, you know? I can’t off the top of my head think, but I think we did a Redbud last year. We’ve done it, I don’t know, man, like we’ve done it a bunch. I think it’s because this track is so different, probably a big part of it. So we’re trying stuff to try to get a little bit better.”
