Race One: Conditions were totally different from qualifying day after over night rain – tricky conditions for race one but the sun is out. Kay de Wolf grabbed the holeshot and never looked back on his Factory Nestaan Husqvarna to take the first win of the year.

Simon Laegenfelder rode solid for second on his KTM with Cas Valk a superb third on his Van Venrooy KTM. David Braceras also had a superb ride on his JM Honda after taking a good start to finish fourth.

Camden McLellan was buried on the first lap but had a superb race to come back to fifth after passing his team mate, Guillem Farres to get into the top five.

It was a disastrous moto for Andrea Adamo after spinning on the gate meant a bad start. The Italian was in sixth behind Farres before the bike expired – a DNF!

Liam Everts rode well for eighth behind Valerio Lata.

Sacha Coenen crashed on lap one but got back to ninth. Mathis Valin also crashed when challenging de Wolf for the lead on lap one and crashed before later DNF’ing the moto.

Race Two: There was drama in the second moto in dry conditions – they even watered the track during the break. Sacha Coenen got the holeshot and never looked back – no one else even saw what way he went, superb!

Valerio Lata was riding great in second before Laegenfelder made a move and started to pull away. Kay de Wolf then crashed – he was on Adamo and needed to pass him for the overall win but crashed!

Laegenfelder had the overall win the bag but then looked to be riding uncomfortable and had two crashes gifting the GP win to de Wolf who finished fifth behind the impressive Mathis Valin! Liam Everts had the ride of the weekend in third – we didn’t even know if he was racing a week ago!

Kay de Wolf has the championship lead going into round two!
