Levi Kitchen has given an update from his hospital bed after his brutal crash at Daytona that has taken away his hopes of a supercross title.
Kitchen has broken his right collarbone and sustained fractures in his back with the Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider clearly still in a lot of pain as he made his video.
Kitchen said:
“Doing a little better now, sore but broke this collarbone here (right) , have a couple of fractures in my upper back. It was unfortunate, felt like I had maybe found a new level of riding last night, there were some positives to take away. Got a little bit greedy in that section so, just glad it wasn’t worse. Haven’t seen the crash and don’t really want too, because it is probably pretty gnarly. Thank you everybody, I will be alright.”
