Tim Gajser’s foot slipped off the footpeg on the upramp in the bumps and the defending world champ went for a wild ride and scary crash in moto two at Arco.
Pit reporter Lorenzo Resta initially heard Tim was relatively okay, thankfully, but had some pain in his leg. The race was then red flagged to allow the medics to safely carry Tim off the track and to get more medical attention. With Lorenzo subsequently hearing he might have a suspected fractured femur.
Let’s hope that isn’t the case and that Tim is fully fit for MXGP round one in Argentina in three weeks.
