So, what happened is, in the 2nd moto in Gaildorf I had a big crash, I got hit by a couple of riders which resulted in 2 bruised lungs, 3 broken ribs, and an internal bleeding on my kidney. They took me straight to the hospital where, in the same evening, I had another burst blood vein and kind of exploded my damaged kidney into one big mess in my belly.

I immediately underwent an emergency surgery which was very crucial. I lost a lot of blood but god bless the surgery was successful. They kept me in sleep until Monday around lunchtime. Things went better until Wednesday, where I woke up to really high fever and lung infection, this brought me back to the intensive care, where I stayed the rest of the week. A few very tough days, physically and mentally, but it went upwards after this and I made some good progress ever since.

First of all I would like to thank the medical crew from the ADAC/Gaildorf, for taking very good care of the situation on the track.

My whole team AMX Racing, my sponsors and supporters, together with my friends and family for their hard work, support and belief. Also, my amazing parents for being by my side 24/7 especially the last week.

And last I want to thank every single person who called or texted me, it was unreal to see how many people cared about me and the whole situation and it really gave me some strength during these past difficult week(s)! Time to go home and take some rest, get fully healthy again and enjoy life.Â
