Race One: Jeffrey Herlings grabbed the holeshot and led every lap to bring home his sixth world title – what an achievement.
Tim Gajser rode the whole race in second but couldn’t get close enough to mount an attack on Herlings.
Tom Vialle spent most of the race in third before Romain Febvre made a move to finish in third on his Kawasaki machine.
Race Two: It was an interesting second moto in tough and hard pack conditions. Herlings got the holeshot but Vialle stayed on his rear wheel and wouldn’t let him go. The French rider tried everything he had but Herlings still did enough to bring home the race win – that’s his 123rd GP overall win.
Febvre finished third with Gajser fourth after a couple of mistakes which cost him the podium.
