Race One: It was Simon Längenfelder who got the holeshot and looked to be riding much more like himself after a few tough GP’s. However, Guillem Farres was charging and made quick passes before setting his sights on Längenfelder. He was able to make an aggressive pass and then pull away at the front.
Längenfelder then had a fast Coenen to contend with and he was doing a good job of it until late in the race when he was too hesitant to get around a backmarker – Coenen took advantage to finish second.
Liam Everts was riding great and closing but ended up fourth. Mathis Valin didn’t get a good start but worked his way through to fifth.
