Cooper Webb won a classic in Seattle that had four riders going for the win at the halfway point but it came down to Sexton v Webb with five minutes to go!
Ken Roczen was on fire early, passing Webb for the lead and inching away with Sexton gating around fifth and Justin Cooper there in third. Webb started catching Roczen again with pressure from Cooper and Sexton forcing him to lift his level but Webb could not find a way by Roczen and Sexton got them both to take the lead!
Webb then finally made the move on Roczen and from there it was the top two in the championship going for the win with everything on the line. Webb got close but Sexton stayed strong until a couple of laps to go when both riders made a mistake, but Sexton’s proved worse in the rhythm section and Webb nailed the pass and held on for the last two laps to take a crucial win getting the gap back to eleven points, if Sexton had held on it was down to five!
Here’s how Webb got into the lead!

Webb said: “I really wanted that one. Me and Kenny were going back forth and Chase got both of us, then it was game on. It was so gnarly. That was a slugfest, two of the best guys going for it. I couldn’t let him get two in a row.”
Sexton said: “It was really tough, I rode my heart out and rode as good as I could. Cooper got me, tried to get him back, wasn’t able to do it. It’s not over, we have six rounds to go.”

Cole Davies took his first ever 250 main event win in scintillating style evoking Jett Lawrence vibes as he pulled away after an early battle with Julien Beamer. Davies pulled away with perfect technique and savage whoops speed to take the win as the battles turned into a brawl behind him.
Deegan went down on lap one but then had a battle with Shimoda for fifth with Shimoda getting aggressive with the Yamaha star but Deegan eventually pulled away and set his sights on the battle for second after Coty Schock crashed trying to hold Deegan off. Beaumer and Marchbanks were going at all moto but Marchbanks got into second late as Deegan surged after Beaumer with the points chase on his mind. With a lap to go Deegan seized his chance, cutting right across Beamer’s front wheel to take third, Beaumer stayed up but couldn’t pay Deegan back and the KTM rider had to deal with the fact he went from first to fourth and lost points to Deegan.
Beaumer was fuming at the pass and confronted Deegan who gave Beaumer a littler slap on the helmet as the two bickered for a while but it was Deegan who got the better of Beaumer on the track and in the championship despite the crash.
Davies said: “It’s been a long journey, a lot of work to get here. I am stoked. I feel like this one has been long overdue, I needed that.”
