After a tough spell on the sidelines due to an Achilles injury, Jalek Swoll is set to make his return to racing this weekend at High Point – the fourth round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

The Triumph Racing rider has endured a lengthy recovery and missed a significant portion of action, but the good news is that he’s recently got back on the bike and feels ready to race again.

Swoll will be back under the Triumph awning for the first time this season in Pro Motocross, and while it’s a welcome sight for fans and the team, it’s expected that the American talent will need time to get back up to speed after such a long layoff.

Sharing his return announcement on social media, Swoll posted:

“Not on here to explain how hard it was to get my Achilles back to the point of where I could ride again, or make excuses ….. with that being said, 278 days since my last gate drop, see you this weekend… Let’s dance.”

It’s been 278 days since Swoll last lined up behind a starting gate, and although this weekend will be a big step forward, the focus will likely be on building momentum and finding his race rhythm again as the season progresses.
