The Brit will once again be a privateer rider contesting the MX2 British Championship as well as the competitive EMX250 series which will see him travel and contest all over Europe. This year was his rookie season in the class and he learnt a lot but he’ll be looking for better results in 2025.
The big change for Brookes is with machinery as he’ll swap his KTM machine for Triumph. The new British brand have only been in the sport for one year but have already impressed at MX2 GP level. The Dirt Store Triumph team won’t be the only riders to race a Triumph in 2025 which is good to see.
“My plans for 2025 are at least three pre season international races where I aim too get a good understanding of how my preseason training has gone”, Brookes told GateDrop.com.Â
“Following on from there I hope too start the season out with a couple Dutch championship rounds and then I will prepare for the first round of the EMX250 series in Spain. I will be contesting in all the EMX250 rounds for another full season after having my learning year in 2024. This year unfortunately didn’t go as planned but I showed some good speed nevertheless running up the front and getting some top ten. results. Along with that I will be doing all the MX2 British championship rounds and I’m very excited too see how that plays out”, added Brookes.Â
“I’ll be riding the new Triumph 250cc this year as a privateer with a few small sponsors helping which is very much appreciated. My goals for the year are to prove to everybody what I know I’m capable of and too be consistently up the sharp end in both the British and EMX250 series”, Brookes concluded.Â
