Young Swedish talent, Dante Lantz, dipped his toes into the EMX125 Championship in 2025 by contesting selected rounds, but he’s set for a full-time assault on the series next season. It has now been confirmed that Lantz will receive valuable support from KTM Scandinavia as he looks to take the next step in his career.
With a number of front-running riders progressing up to the EMX250 category for 2026, the opportunity is there for fresh faces to emerge at the sharp end of EMX125. Lantz will be aiming to make the most of that landscape as he continues his development.
His standout moment of the 2025 season came at Kegums in Latvia, where he delivered a strong ride to finish thirteenth in the second moto – a result that highlighted the promise he brings to the table.
Alongside his European campaign, Lantz will also contest the Swedish Championship, and he has made it clear that fighting for that title is a major goal for the season ahead.
With KTM Scandinavia’s backing and a full EMX125 schedule on his program, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Dante Lantz as he looks to establish himself among the rising stars of the class.
“When I got the offer to ride for KTM Scandinavia I felt it was the right step for me to take. I raced a KTM this year and we have found a good setup so staying on a KTM is very nice and being able to work on the same bike. With all the help from KTM it feels very good for next year”, Lantz told GateDrop.com.
“My plan for next year is to do every round of the EMX125 series and the Swedish championship. This year I learned a lot and I’m ready to do better next year. In the EMX125 class I want to be with them and fight in the top ten or better through the whole season. I’m aiming for the top step in the Swedish championship. I am very excited for next season and my second year on the 125cc”, concluded Lantz.
