We managed to catch up with former 250 Supercross champ, 250 AMA Motocross champion and three-time MXoN winner, Ivan Tedesco, to discuss his very successful career, the progress at Triumph, what it was like helping to test for a brand new Motocross machine and if he would like to race at Lommel!
On why he was in Lommel with the GP Triumph team, Ivan said: “The plan was to come here and watch these guys work and see how they operate. They’ve obviously been very successful this year and you know just watch them work and see if we could bring any of that back to the US and try to implement that into our program.”
Would he like to race at Lommel? “First time here, it’s good. It’s really cool to watch. These guys are amazing in the sand. I was never a great sand rider so it’s probably a good thing I never came here but it’s cool to be here and watch this race. No, no desire to go out there! Like I said, I was never a good sand rider, more a hard pack supercross rider so no, I don’t want nothing to do with it!”
