Results: World Supercross RD3 – Australian GP – Roczen and Anstie on top!

Joey Savatgy went quickest in the 450 qualifying with Enzo Lopes quickest in the 250s but who would turn up with the lights on?

SX1

Moto one

Ken Roczen won a superb opening moto as the German, Tomac, holeshot man Savatgy and Craig had a four-way battle for the lead in the opening half of the race! Roczen eventually passed them all including Tomac for the lead and pulled away for the win. Savatgy bumped teammate Craig off the track but Craig held on for third with Deegan coming from the back of the pack to sixth.

Moto two

Cooper Webb led from start to finish but all the action was behind! Roczen and Tomac were buried in the pack off the start as Deegan finally got a top five start and provided the fireworks!

Deegan worked his way past Anderson and Savatgy but Savatgy was hitting back as Deegan kept making a mistake every time he made the pass, it meant Deegan, Savatgy and Tomac were in a pulsating battle until Deegan washed the front just when he was inching away in second! Eli Tomac then spun out and finished seventh as Roczen came back to fourth.

Moto three

Eli Tomac took the holeshot from Haiden Deegan with Webb and Roczen suffering bad starts. But it was Christian Craig who took control, passing Deegan then catching and passing Tomac for the lead!

Deegan then reeled in and passed Tomac as the Star Yamaha rider impressed to take second behind his former coach, Craig, with Ken Roczen coming through to pass Tomac for third to secure the overall win!

Moto one

Max Anstie passed holeshot man Enzo Lopes with authority early to take the win over Lopes and Schock.

Moto two

Max Anstie dominated moto two as Enzo crashed out of second with a big off in the whoops. Cullin Park took second with Shane McElrath third.

Moto three

Max Anstie took the win again after following Shane McElrath for half the moto before making the pass and pulling away. Cullin Park was third with Coty Schock fourth.
