Race One: Hunter Lawrence passed Haiden Deegan to take the win as the drama unfolded behind him. Deegan blocked the pass attempt by Jett Lawrence that left Jett on the ground as Jorge Prado came from ninth out of turn one to pass Deegan for second!
Jett found his way back by Deegan but he wasn’t catching Prado who had the fastest lap of the race until the backmarkers came into play with Hunter also losing time but once Jett got Prado in sight he made the move on the last lap to seal second with Deegan back in fourth over 30 seconds behind Hunter by the end.
Jett said of the collision with Deegan “He tried to defend so hard he went off the track to defend!”

Race Two: It was the worst case scenario for Hunter Lawrence in moto two despite a holeshot after Jett Lawrence then a finally in-form Jorge Prado went by with Deegan right there in fourth all setting a hot pace, Hunter was pushing hard to stay with the front two when he went down big time and was forced to DNF…handing the red plate to Jett Lawrence with four motos to go and a ten point deficit for Hunter to reel in, in a situation very reminiscent of Supercross.
