A great trip down memory lane and a look at the 1994 250 French GP at Ernee. Yves Demaria was the French hero on the Pepsi Cola Honda that had Roger DeCoster involved, and at times that year he was the fastest man on the planet in his rookie year on the 250 machine.
The Frenchman won six Grand Prix that year with world title rivals, Stefan Everts attaining five wins despite a collarbone and eventual world champ, Greg Albertyn, only two wins on the season – but consistency and a big fighting spirit got him the title!
Kurt Nicoll, who did become a French resident at that time, also speaks some impressively fluent French! A young Fred Bolley also features along with Tallon Vohland, Trampas Parker the late Donny Schmit, paul Malin, Marnicq Bervoets and many more stars in a class that was very deep in talent now that it had become the premier class in motocross racing.
