In the first sprint race of the night, it was a Jo Shimoda who got the holeshot with Tom Vialle right on his heels. However, the French rider made a mistake on the first lap which allowed Mathys Boisrame to get into third before Vialle passed him back a couple of corners later. He tried to mount an attack on Shimoda but there wasn’t much to split the pair so the Japanese rider held onto the win. Anthony Bourdon again came home in third ahead of Maxime Desprey with Calvin Fonvielle rounding out the top five.
It was Boisrame who took the holeshot in sprint two but he had Vialle for company and it didn’t take him long to make a move and pull away from the rest of the pack. It was a nightmare for Shimoda as he had a bike issue and had to DNF. Boisrame who is looking better each and every race battled hard with Desprey and Bourdon before finishing fourth. Jules Pietre had a great ride for fifth!
It was on at the front in the final as Vialle got the holeshot but Shimoda got away in second despite a bad gate selection after his DNF in the second sprint. The French rider pulled away at the start but then Shimoda started to gain towards the end but couldn’t even get close enough to make a move stick. Desprey was third early but then had a crash which allowed Bourdon up to third and Boisrame fourth. Despite his crash into the safety nets yesterday, Vialle still did enough to win the overall and become Prince of Paris!
