There have been plenty of top riders that have been under the F&H Racing team awning in the past. The team have worked with the likes of Ruben Fernandez, Adam Sterry, Jed Beaton, Mathys Boisrame, Mikkel Haarup, Henry Jacobi, Kevin Horgmo and many others as they chased glory in the MX2 World Championship.
The team may not have won an MX2 world championship but they’ve won races and had plenty of podiums. Roan van de Moosdijk also won the EMX250 title when he was with the team back in 2019 in what is a great achievement.
Coming into the 2024 season, the team decided to only run one MX2 GP rider so the focus has been on Quentin Prugnieres as well as Courtney Duncan in the WMX class. However, we understand the team will close their doors at the end of the season meaning the final round of the World Championship this weekend in Spain will be the last one for the team – it’ll be an emotional one for the team.
The team have done a great job in the paddock and have a very professional set up. In the past the team did receive official Kawasaki support but that did change before the 2024 season. Kawasaki have decided to take a different direction which will see a full factory KRT MX2 GP rider in 2025 after the signing of Mathis Valin. The plan at the moment will be to sign up another full factory MX2 GP rider for the 2026 season.
Teams have left the paddock in the past before returning so fingers crossed the same can happen the F&H Racing team. The current Triumph team had a couple of seasons out of the paddock after losing KRT support, Standing Construct also had a year out of the paddock and Riley Racing are set to return in 2025 after over a year.
We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Quentin Prugnieres and Courtney Duncan but they’ll be hoping to remain in the MXGP paddock.
We’ll bring you the news when it is official provided the rumour comes to fruition.
