Race One: Oriol Oliver took the win but was under pressure late from a charging Conrad Mewse who came from eighth and nearly ran down the 15 second advantage! But Oliver smartly upped his pace to secure the win by a couple of seconds.
Tristan Purdon rode well for third in his late 1980s Kurt Nicoll factory Kawasaki replica kit, with Taylor Hammal fourth and Ben Watson fifth after a first turn crash. Jason Meara rode well for eighth.
Race Two: After a red flag forced a restart, Ben Watson came out of turn on in the lead with Oliver and Mewse quickly moving past Sterry into second and third. Oliver passed Watson as did Mewse and the battle was then on for the overall win!
The trio set a scorching pace as Watson stayed with them but, every time Mewse got close Oliver kept his pace and made no mistakes eventually pulling out to a 5 second lead in the last couple of laps as poor Ben Watson suffered a DNF with two laps to go, severely hurting his championship aspirations.
