Glenn McCormick took the overall win at round one of the Ulster championship in the sandy circuit of Robinson’s at Claudy on the Chambers KTM after he split moto wins with Phoenix Tools Kawasaki rider Jason Meara.
Meara’s second moto wasn’t what he wanted taking a fourth after falling, despite having the fastest lap of the race to end his chances of the overall win and ending up third on the podium behind big brother John who has had a strong start to 2022 after a couple of seasons out of meaningful action on the Watt Kawasaki.
