Race One: The KTM riders were on another level from everyone else in the opening race. It was Bauer who got the holeshot with Ernecker starting fourth but it didn’t take him long to get into second and the pair pulled away from the rest of the pack.
With a couple of minutes to go Ernecker got close and tried to attack Bauer – they got side by side but he couldn’t make a pass stick. Backmarkers started to then cause havoc for Ernecker but Bauer held on to take the race win.
In third, it was Timo Heuver who had a great ride ahead of Levi Townley. Townley was actually third early before a small tip over but will be happy with his fourth spot after Liam Bruneau had issues.
Sleny Goyer started in around fifteenth position but managed to get back up to fifth spot.
Race Two: Ernecker took the holeshot and ran away with things at the front of the pack to bring home another overall win. Townley rode a lonely but strong second spot to get himself on the podium.
Bauer didn’t get a good start in around fifteenth but quickly got into seventh before losing the front. After the crash he then collided with another rider and lost his rear brake so he could only get back to ninth to secure a podium.
