Mitch Evans topped the first qualifying group ahead of Roan van de Moosdijk with Max Spies rounding out the top three.
In the second group, it was Noah Ludwig who topped the session on his Sarholz KTM with Milko Potisek second. Jere Haavisto was third with Max Nagl on the Triumph fourth quickest in the group.
In the youngsters cup class, there was no surprise to see Quentin Prugnieries top his group on his WZ KTM ahead of Vitezlav Marek – that’s more like it from the Czech talent as he’s back on a 250cc this weekend. Bradley Mesters was third in the first group.
In group two, Linus Persson was fastest from Nico Greutmann and Maxime Grau third. Grau actually put in the fastest lap of his group but got docked two spots for jumping a medical flag.
