Simon Längenfelder rode a picture perfect race to dominate the qualifying race with Thibault Benistant passing Sacha Coenen with a couple of laps to go for second and Liam Everts passing Sacha in the last corner to take third!
Kay de Wolf had a disaster. The defending world champion was coming from last place and made a lot of quick passes but then went down a couple of laps in and put himself back at the back of the pack, it meant no points for the Dutchman and 18th gate pick tomorrow with rival Längenfelder getting another ten points in the fight for the title. Andrea Adamo picked up fifth despite a crash of his own when he made contact with Benistant earlier in the race.
