Swiss talent Kevin Brumann will make a change for the 2027 season, switching from Husqvarna to Honda machinery after spending the past two years with the MX-Handel Husqvarna team.
Brumann has now secured a deal with KMP Honda Racing for the upcoming campaign, giving him a new opportunity as he looks to continue his progress on the international stage.
Brumann to contest MXGP and ADAC MX Masters
For 2027, Brumann will contest the European rounds of the MXGP World Championship, while also lining up in the ADAC MX Masters series in Germany.
His move to KMP Honda Racing will see him take on a new challenge making the move to Honda machinery, having spent the last two seasons with the MX-Handel Husqvarna team.
KMP Honda Racing returns to MXGP
Brumann’s signing is also positive news for KMP Honda Racing, as the team prepares to return to the MXGP class after going without a rider in the premier category for the past few years.
With Brumann set to represent the team in both MXGP and ADAC MX Masters competition, the partnership marks an important step for both parties heading into the 2027 season.
KMP confirmed the news on social media:
We’re proud to officially welcome our first new rider to the KMP Honda Racing by DVAG team for 2027.
Kevin Brumann:
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be riding for KMP Honda Racing by DVAG next season! I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and thankful to everyone who made it possible. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season and can’t wait to get started! I’ll be competing in the ADAC MX Masters and all the European rounds of the MXGP World Championship. Even though I’ve started to enjoy my new job, I’d still rather be riding Motocross”.
Let’s goooo!
