Eli Tomac’s big crash forces him OUT of Cleveland Supercross!


Eli Tomac was fighting for the fastest time in Cleveland when he went down hard in the whoops, landing on his shoulder and forcing a red flag as the medics took Tomac away to get looked at once the American legend got back on his feet.

Jason Weigandt has reported on Race Day Live that Eli is being assessed in the medical truck with a sore hip and shoulder. Tomac then lined up for Q2 but, after a couple of minutes, Eli pulled into the mechanics area shaking his head to his mechanic and went back to the pits.

KTM have now confirmed Eli Tomac is OUT for tonight all but ending his title hopes: “Eli Tomac has unfortunately been ruled out of Cleveland following his crash in 450SX Q1 this morning. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider attempted to ride in the final session, but ongoing pain in his hip has sidelined him for this afternoon.”
