Coming into the 2024 season, Julius Mikula made the step up from racing the EMX125 series to the MX2 World Championship. The Czech talent had been with the MJC Yamaha squad for the EMX125 series before signing a deal with Osička MX Team.
During his rookie season in the MX2 World Championship, Mikula showed some good speed and results in what was a learning year. An injury did mean he missed a number of GP’s but he still learnt a lot this year.
For the 2025 season, one thing that has now been confirmed is that he will not be staying with the Osička MX Team but fingers crossed he’ll remain in the MX2 World Championship.
So far, the Osička MX Team have confirmed that Marcel Stauffer will remain with the team to contest the ADAC MX Masters as well as plenty of MXGP World Championship events.
The team revealed the news via the following statement:
Let’s continue with the details of next season! After the unforgettable season together, we would like to thank Julius Mikula451, his family and Pavel Schneider. What we have achieved is incredible (top 10 in the MX2 World Championship, we are so proud of you!) and we are very happy that we’ve helped Julek within his further grow and progress.
We wish you the best results and good luck in the next motocross chapter. See you on the track.
