Revealed: Mike Brown parts ways with Triumph Racing

Triumph Racing have enjoyed plenty of success since entering the Grand Prix paddock, even securing a World Championship title this year with Guillem Farres. However, the British manufacturer have found things more challenging in America since making their debut in the US paddock in 2024.

As a result, changes have been taking place within Triumph Racing’s American operation ahead of the 2027 season. Stephen “Scuba” Westfall was initially appointed as team manager, but Ivan Tedesco is now believed to have stepped up into the role after previously serving as Assistant Team Manager.

Mike Brown has also been involved with the team, contributing to testing before suffering a significant injury. The former racer was brought on board as a trainer, working closely with the riders to help them improve their performance.

However, Brown has now confirmed that he and Triumph Racing have parted ways. With his time at Triumph coming to an end, Brown will now focus on moving forward and what comes next in his career.

Mike Brown confirmed the news on social media:

“It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update, and I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know where things stand. I am no longer with the Factory Triumph Racing Team, following the company’s decision to move in a different direction. While the circumstances surrounding my departure were disappointing, I am focused on moving forward and preparing for the next chapter of my career”.

“Racing and coaching have been a lifelong commitment for me. My passion for helping riders develop their skills, build confidence, and reach their potential remains as strong as ever. I look forward to continuing that work and bringing my experience, dedication, and competitive drive to my next role”.

“I’m taking the time to carefully consider the opportunities ahead and find the right long-term fit. I look forward to sharing my decision and future plans once everything is finalized. In the meantime, I will be hosting training camps and sharing details about upcoming dates in the next few days”.
