Anderson talks the intensity of motocross

Jason Anderson gave a great insight into how difficult it is mentally to keep your focus when battling for the win outdoors. The Kawasaki rider agve the insight after he took his first ever AMA motocross overall win at Hangtown (1-3) to establish himself as a title contender heading into round three this weekend in Colorado

Anderson said in the press conference: “What’s crazy right now is, the pace is pretty high, and when you’re in that top three, I mean, we’re battling all the way to the end. It’s taking everything out of you, and you’re using your brain the whole time. That mental capacity is tough to have for 70 minutes of racing. You’re trying find things, latching on to lines, you’re problem solving the whole time. It’s tough! I think we’re getting better, and I think our bike is good. So, yeah, it’s fun.”

With Chase Sexton setting a hot pace and Eli Tomac getting his first moto win of the year heading into his home race this weekend, it won’t be any easier for Anderson to get in the win in Colorado, especially with the higher altitude!
