Race One: Jett Lawrence took the winbas he worked his way past Roczen, Prado, Hunter and Hampshire to take the lead and the win despite an off track excursion that momentarily let Hampshire back by but Jett passed him back immediately in the next to to take back control. But it was a disaster for Jorge Prado who holeshot but dropped outside the top ten to 15th, including get caught and passed by Guillod who necer saw Prado all last year in MXGP. That setting he thought he had on the Kawasaki not working at Unadilla. That option at KTM might be even more appealing.

Race Two: Jett Lawrence went from fourth to first on lap one then held off a flurry of attacks early from his brother before pulling away for another win to clinch his second 450 outdoor title. Eli Tomac took third with Prado 12th after a race long battle with Paturel. Ken Roczen was seventh but was forced out with three laps to go.
Jett said: “It seemed impossible, you are in such a low mental spot because you work so hard for this. I spoke to doc G for the 2-3 months I was there manifesting that the first race back I was winning, the championship, I was winning. I manifest this every time I was at a low point, pushing through the pain of trying to get my knee to work again. All that pain goes into this and it’s awesome.”
