Romain Febvre set the pace in the MXGP timed practice session on his Factory Kawasaki.
Glenn Coldenhoff put in a strong lap for second with Lucas Coenen third.
Calvin Vlaanderen put in his best lap right at the end to go fourth with Andrea Bonacorsi rounding out the top five.
In MX2, Sacha Coenen put in a very fast lap to go fastest. Kay de Wolf was only fifth but then put in his best lap right at the death to go second – there was only a tenth in it.
Liam Everts was third quickest with Cas Valk putting in a good lap for fourth. Mathis Valin rounded out the top five.
Simon Längenfelder was seventh fastest with Andrea Adamo eighth.
