Young Polish rider signs with KMP Honda

KMP Honda is actually one of the largest German team, with well known quality riders like Max Nagl (ADAC Champion) Jordi Tixier, and three good riders signed during the last weeks: Dutch Davy Pootjes, Latvian Edvards Bidzans and another young Dutch gun Scott Smulders. But in this fast international company we have another young rider!

Team manager Alex Karg has signed a one year agreement with Seweryn Gazda, one of the best Polish junior riders. This 16 years old rider comes from South Poland (Silesia, Bytom) and has international experience like EMX125, ADAC Championship, International Junior Czech Championship and Slovakia Championship.

Seweryn (in speech Severin) has good skills which comes not only from motocross. He started in Superenduro and CrossCountry races, and it’s a rider who likes difficulties and hard conditions on the track.

His debut in German Championship was in Holzgerlingen, September 2022 where Seweryn gained first points in his first races. On the wide international arena he has taken a part twice in Junior MX World Championship (Finland, Romania 2022-2023).

One of the very special moments in his career was in July 2022 when first rode in EMX125. But truly – real success was when he qualified to the final races in difficult sand Lommel (July 2022). If young boy qualified in his second start in EMX125 and it has been done in Lommel that means we have talented, solid & fast rider who can compete and fight in best European 125cc league.

In 2023 Seweryn was participant in Czech, Slovak and German Championship. His best success was vice champion title in 125cc class in Slovak Championship. In Czech Republic he was fourth, but after collarbone injury.

We could see him in some ADAC races, where Seweryn was close to TOP 10. No doubts this young Polish rider can be better and faster, and in such good, fast environment existing in KMP Honda Racing his talent can grow up.

In 2024 season you’ll see Seweryn in ADAC Junior Cup (125cm) and in some EMX125 races. However, the young Pole will continue ride on his KTM bike, he will be representing KMP Team, with support of experienced team staff. This choice is very good opportunity for Seweryn and we wish him best results and “spreaded wings” of his career.
