Micheàl Mc Cullagh gearing up for his rookie EMX125 season

Young Irish rider, Micheàl Mc Cullagh contested the EMX125 championship at Matterley Basin this year to get a taster for the 2024 season as he gears up for his rookie season in the class.

After spending the 2023 season on Husqvarna, the upcoming season will be all change as he’s decided to make the switch to TM machinery with support from CCM Racing putting a good package together to aid support.

Next week, Mc Cullagh will be travelling to Spain to start the hard work for the upcoming season when he’ll hope to learn as much as possible racing outside Ireland and the UK against some of the best young talents in the world.

As well as racing the EMX125 season, Mc Cullagh will race the Dutch Masters of Motocross in the 125cc class which will see him race plenty of gnarly sand tracks. He also plans to line up at Hawkstone International in February to prepare for the 2024 season.

“After nearly two full years out due to a few serious injuries I finally feel like I am getting my confidence back. We have now made the switch to the 125cc TM and we can’t thank Gavin and the crew at CCM Racing enough for putting a serious package together for us. Now I’ll get the head down over the winter and get some serious training in for racing in Europe next year”, Mc Cullagh told GateDrop.com.
