Mike Alessi has stated on Instagram he was about to head to California to get some riding in ahead of the World supercross series resuming at the end of September…but now he’s staying at home with the “next few rounds cancelled.”
Rumours are circulating it might just be Abu Dhabi and Australia (both in November) left on the schedule, meaning no German GP for Ken Roczen! If true, it’s a big shame for a series that had so much potential and delivered very good racing, bringing high level supercross to fans outside the USA.
Fortunately, the British WSX round did go ahead and we caught up with Mike to talk about his career:
