Sexton on successful knee surgery

After his big crash in Colorado left him with a torn ACL, Chase Sexton is now through his ACL repair surgery and is focusing on recovery and a comeback to remember in 2027.

The US star had surgery in Vegas and said: “Honestly, it was a pretty, I mean, not an easy process, but I  got there at 7 today, and it’s noon, and I’m already back at the hotel. I haven’t had surgery in a while. I was honestly kind of nervous.

“Surgery’s done. ACL is good. They found some past injuries in there, so they got those fixed up, and yeah, my knee feels worse than when I went in there, which is unfortunate. But I mean, my knee didn’t hurt prior to getting surgery, but it was just really weak, and obviously I had to get it fixed, so Dr. Greenbaum did a great job, and now we’re on the mend.”

It remains to be seen if Chase will be on Kawasaki in 2027, with some people suggesting a move to Star Yamaha might be an option.  Is there any truth to the rumour? Let’s wait and see, one thing is for sure though, Sexton is motivated for next season to turn his career around and get back where he belongs.
