Haiden Deegan had a statement ride to come from outside the top ten to pass Ty Masterpool for the win on the last lap with searing pace to confirm he is the fastest 250 rider in America. When it’s time to produce, Deegan delivers and this is his title to lose.
Deegan said: “I got cut off at the start by Chance, I get it, he thinks he had a chance and I had to show him he doesn’t. I came from 30th to first, that was gnarly, I rode my heart out.”
In contrast, Tom Vialle had one of the worst rides of his career, getting up to fourth with tje leaders in sight and Deegan outside the top five. Vialle lost time to the front three then crashed and finished 8th as Levi Kitchen finished 10th. A disaster for the title for both riders.

Race two was almost deja vu as Deegan crashed on lap one and came from outside the top 20 to almost run down Masterpool again but he came up 3 tenths short as Masterpool took the win and hid first ever overall win along with Mitch Payton’s 300th win for the Pro Circuit team.
But it was another poor moto for Vialle who crashed while leading early and had nothing for Deegan who later caught and stormed passed the Frenchman who took a big hit in points and is now 38 points down on Deegan.

It was even worse foe Levi Kitchen who crashed while 8th and is down to fourth in the championship with a consistent Hymas second over Vialle, 32 points back. But Deegain is in charge on points and speed.
Masterpool said: “It’s been a rough three or four years, hard work pays off, glory to God.”
