Race results: MXGP World Championship RD12 – Febvre takes the win at Loket

Race One: Jorge Prado got the holeshot but Romain Febvre went outside and jumped the triple to come out of turn two with the lead on his Factory Kawasaki machine. The French rider was loving the slick conditions and pulled away at the front. Prado had to deal with Factory Yamaha duo behind him – Jeremy Seewer and Glenn Coldenhoff. Seewer was able to make a move and did catch Febvre who just did enough to win. Prado held onto third ahead of Coldenhoff.

Race Two: What a cracking race! It was Jeremy Seewer who held the early lead ahead of Prado and Febvre with the latter on the move. The Kawasaki man passed both and looked to pull away at the front with Vlaanderen also riding great in second. With three laps to go and comfortable at the front, Febvre crashed and then crashed again trying to get going – talk about drama. It dropped Febvre down to fourth but he still won the GP overall. Vlaanderen rode superb and won the second moto – what a ride from the Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha rider.
